Honeywood is thrilled to have as its newest neighbor, out the back door, our sister restaurant Smithtown at the Summit! The original Smithtown Seafood at West Sixth Street in downtown Lexington has created Smithtown at the Summit, which opened this week in The Barn, Kentucky's only local food hall, at The Summit at Fritz Farm. It's like old home days, with families growing up on the same street, except that instead of fetching a cup of sugar, we'll be trading food prep for fish filleting skills of Smithtown's chefs. It's win-win-win, because we love being with the Smithtown staff, too!
You'll find tons of freshly prepared seafood at Smithtown at the Summit, such as cod platters, shrimp or oyster Po-Boys in authentic New Orleans rolls, our delicious hand-cut fries, and Chef Jonathan Sanning's delicious sides, among lots of other choices. We'll have a Web site up soon with the menu!
Come on out to the Summit and have a walk around. Strolling among stores and restaurants is so easy, and parking is available at the door or in nearby parking lots. There's a fantastic play area for kids, and of course, delicious food from Honeywood and now Smithtown! Stop by and say hello -- we'd love to see you.
